Program of spiritual recovery

          In our center, there are people with different dependencies (it is not only drugs and alcohol), but also people dependent on pills and depressions, and all those, who need rehabilitation and soul restoration. The program is designed for 9 months because this is the minimum time during which the old stereotypes of behavior are destroyed and new ones are created.

           In Christian rehabilitation center which is the part of the "Light of the Golan Heights organization”, lifestyle change means full healing from any dependence, acquisition of new valuesaccording to the Word of God, such as:  love and respect for others, reading the Bible, attendingmeetings, diligence, service to the weak and sick, ability to live and work in team, etc.

           The Word of God considerably changes and gives a new and productive life even those people, whose lives since childhood have been mutilated by an orphanhood, alcohol or alcoholics, drugs or drug addicts, and they had no normal childhood. (Testimonies of men andwomen)

People learn to help each other, be responsible for any work entrusted to them;learn to open and free communication with their peers and with senior .They also acquire diverse skills of housework. Attendance of church and ministries are required.

           The  center accepts not only the young man and girls, but also people of different age.

             Schedule (weekdays)

   7.30                     awakening

  8.00-9.00            morning meeting (Word analysis)  

   9.00-9.30           breakfast

   9.30 - 13.00       various chores (including the purchase of products)

  13.00-14.00        day meeting (Word analysis)

  14.00-17.00        work (duration and type of work depends upon  the state of health and opportunities)

  17.00                   dinner

  19.00                   meeting in the Church

  21.00                   free time, walks, communication

  23.00                   going to bed

 Saturday      Schedule is  free.

            At the end of the 9-month program those, who show a desire  go to study to an international Bible School of the Congregation "Living Israel" in Haifa .

2. Practice lasts  4 months. Students return to those homes, where they have  passed the recovery program, and serve newcomers as  seniors in warm homes  of first level.  

 
          After practical training the students go to serve and live as God calls them ,or they go to live and serve in the Warm Homes of the second level (Female Home, Male Home), or return to their families, or open  new  "Warm Homes", or go to serve to other countries (Germany, USA), where "Warm Homes”  of Congregation "Living Israel” exist.

          People continue to live in Warm Homes of the second level together. There is one big lounge with a kitchen and few bedrooms in the house. They live, as well as other parishioners, only together, and once a week 
pastor Gennady cjmes to them and holds a meeting.

Many  of them simply remain in the community, rent accommodation in Katzrin, live in separate apartments, start working and continue to attend our church. They create families.

There are many facts when broken families were reunited after going through the program.
