Konstantin Basin.

                     Dear! My name is Kontantin Basin. I am thirty years old. I am the native of  Georgia, lived in Tbilisi.

                              My family is very intelligent. But for some reason from  my childhood I was pulled by all the bad things. Only my father had an influence upon me, but he died when I was 15 years old. I completely got out from mother's hands, went to Moscow without telling anyone, even to my mother. I was 17 years old. From Moscow I was deported back to Tbilisi.   

                    With grief in half, I graduated from high school, and at age of 18 went to Israel for permanent domicile. I wanted to start all over again, but here I went flop……

                     I didn’t begin to study, I didn’t finish the army service ,but was demobilized  with "yellow ticket" (21 profile).. After demobilization I went to work to furniture transportations. Health allowed to load weights, but cash, and, besides –“ gratuity” took away me to drugs, which I started  to use since I  had arrived  to Israel.

                  In 26 years, I've already got the first  jail time for 3 years for stealing NIS 250 (= $ 70). It was a show trial, so they gave me so much for a small sum of money. In prison I told myself that when I would be released, I would not drink or smoke or take drugs ...

                           For good behavior I was given a conditional early release. I went out of prison, and at the same time my mom arrived to Israel on permanent domicile. She thought that it would be easier for me to live, work, and to pay off debts if she was near. But again I was mistaken in estimation of the forces,  , and in 7 months I started drinking, smoking, etc….again.

 I got hooked on a new drug "Hagiga" (Crocodile). ). It was on sale freely in any booth of Tel Aviv.  Then Jesus began to send His angels to me - His servants. But I refused to go with them, saying, "afterwards”... I became closely acquainted with the freaky life of addicts and quickly returned to prison to finish my  conditional and early "release".

                   Time of imprisonment ended, I left prison. And what's the first thing I've done? No, I did not go to my mother to Netanya ... I did not go to my girlfriend or to my friends, I went to the drug. It came to me in dreams, I felt it’s smell when was awakening.

                            Finally, I got sick of it, and somewhere deep inside I began to pray God about salvation.....Jesus heard me and on 12.06.2012 took me to Himself, to the rehabilitation center in Katsrin, to the Man's warm House. I couldn't believe! The next day I woke up – and there is no desire to smoke! Within three months I stayed in God's grace, until I went away….

                          Because I have left the House I got into trouble: I almost broke my leg at work… during loading an office desk fell on me and cut a piece of meat to the bone, 15 cm in length and 3-4 – breadthwise. Again, I wasted money where it is not necessary. Then I stopped working, weighed 60 kg, lived in "bomzhatnik."

                    Believing brothers from Haifa came there for evangelization, I asked them to take me with them, and they delivered me to the Warm House in Nagariya. But again I left it…

                          In half a year I appeared in Katsrin again. And for the first time of my “comings and runaways” I accepted Jesus Crist as my Lord and Redeemer. I was born from Above and was baptized.

               Recently again I ran away for a week, but came to my senses and returned. I realized that apart of Jesus I have nobody and nothing. Every day I pray to my Lord and ask Him not to allow me to get away from Him. Besides Him nobody loves me truly. And without Jesus I can't do anything. I can't neither love, nor work, neither think, nor do the right things.

Dear! Jesus loves you! Let us entrust Him our lives and our destiny. Because of His love to us let be His faithful servants!
